Notices of Public Hearing on Proposed Benefit Assessment Increase in Zones 2, 4, and 9

Posted April 30, 2025

To enable the District to make critical repairs and upgrades, property owners in Zones 2, 4, and 9 will have the chance to vote on the proposed benefit assessments. The money from the benefit assessment increase will fund a carefully selected list of critical flood control projects and can only be used for critical projects identified in that zone.

On June 17, 2025 at 9:30 AM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the District Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed benefit assessment increases at the Alameda County Board of Supervisors Chambers, 1221 Oak Street, Room 512, 5th Floor, Oakland, CA 94612 and, at that time, receive public testimony, hear protests, and direct the tabulation of assessment ballots. Ballots must be submitted prior to the close of the public hearing in order to be tabulated.
