Between Highway 92 and Alameda Creek, Hayward, Union City, and Fremont
Alameda Creek Fish Ladder Project (Zone 5) The Alameda County Flood Control & Water Conservation District is working collaboratively with other groups to bring steelhead trout and salmon back to Alameda Creek. A fish ladder is planned to help fish swim up and downstream over large concrete barriers that protect BART track footings from erosion.
